Empowering Executive Facilitators Through Expressive Arts in San Diego

August, last month in beautiful San Diego, I had the pleasure of leading an engaging and dynamic Expressive Arts workshop for YPO, Inc. facilitators who cater to executives and CEOs. From the moment we began, the energy was lively as participants greeted each other and shared their experiences. Through physical warm-ups, guided visualizations, and creative activities like collage-making, participants connected to their bodies and emotions in new and profound ways.

One participant, typically analytical, surprised himself by setting aside his intellect and embracing an instinctual, visual approach. Others rediscovered a connection to their joy, quirks, and inner resilience. By the end of the session, everyone had shared their work and reflected on the experience, discovering insights and vulnerabilities they hadn't expected.

The power of these creative processes lies in their ability to break down barriers, enabling participants to connect on a deeper level—both within themselves and with one another. It’s a beautiful way to build trust, enhance communication, and foster a stronger team dynamic.

I’m excited to continue bringing these transformative experiences to organizations. Whether it's for a team-building event, a leadership retreat, or any gathering that could benefit from deeper connection, I look forward to more collaborations!
